Stefan Berg lives and works in Toronto, Canada. He began his career in 2007 with the novel Let That Bad Air Out : Buddy Bolden’s Last Parade, a portfolio of 70 linocuts published by the Porcupine’s Quill. More images below.
In 2008 Berg received a BFA from OCAD University. Since then Berg has increasingly exhibited his work, nationally and internationally, as well as acted as curator and juror for numerous exhibitions. His solo painting exhibitions, as well as his publications, have been critically acclaimed by various news media including the Globe and Mail and the Toronto Star. He is the recipient of multiple juried awards and grants, including the Eric Freefield Award.
