Elmgreen and Dragset is an artistic duo conformed by Michel Elmgreen born in Denmark and and Ingar Dragset born in Norway.
This duo of artists are living and working in the city of Berlin and are recognized for their works worldwide.
From the first time they worked together in 1995 they have created artworks without precedent.
Some of most famous exhibits are the transformation of the Bohen Foundation in New York City on 13th Street subway in 2004, Prada and the desert of Texas in 2005. Two of his shows about Social Welfare in 2006 they were critically acclaimed and were exhibited at the Serpentine Gallery in London and the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery, Toronto.
In 2003 they won a contest for the Government of Germany and installed a memorial to homosexual victims of the Nazi regime, in the Tiergarten park, this monument was completed and presented in 2008.
Undoubtedly this duo of European artists delight us with their new artistic expectations bringing art.
